The much anticipated Pharmacy Show 2008 at NEC Birmingham will take place on the 12th and 13th of October, bringing together pharmacists and buyers from all over the Globe. While registration is completely free, this trade event is only for industry buyers, pharmacists and their staff, thus providing an excellent platform for buyers to compare products and services from over 80 different pharmaceutical companies.
While many exhibitors will be seen offering show-only deals, others exhibitors will add an element of fun offering competitions and lucky draws. Apart from benefiting from the Expo as a ground for expanding business networks and discussing business opportunities for growth, visitors can also purchase the Pharmacy Buyers Guide as a reference or directory of suppliers' contact details and products.
The exhibition is located centrally at the famous NEC Birmingham which has the added advantages of easy access and nearby accommodation. With its own car park, visitors can easily reach the Expo via the UK motorway network through the M6, M1, M40 and M42. Travel by train will also be no trouble thanks to the NEC Arena being connected to the Birmingham International station by a covered bridge link. Most trains also have many regional towns and cities as their direct destination; London for instance is only 90 minutes away from the venue by rail.
While the venue can be easily accessed from the London Heathrow, London Gatwick and other regional airports, International visitors can also get easy access due to the close proximity of the NEC to the Birmingham International Airport. This airport has over 20 international airlines and scheduled flights from 34 destinations in the UK, Europe and North America.
Accommodation has been taken care of by Virtuoso which is the appointed booking partner for the Pharmacy Show and offers negotiated and exclusive prices for visitors to the show. For those travelling with children the venue has a fully equipped child care facility operated by trained professionals, allowing visitors to enjoy the exhibition and reap its benefits without worrying about their children's safety.
Featuring a special stall called the Natural Pavilion; the Pharmacy Show will display the latest natural products available allowing the suppliers the opportunity to showcase their products to both health store owners as well as prospective buyers who visit the show.
Creating a platform for multiple bulk buyers, the show will also provide suppliers with a chance to have direct interaction with these buyers, some of whom are capable of making purchases even for over 1,500 pharmacies each. Helping UK based companies compete in the international market, the UKTI stand will help build an extensive international network, and also guide UK companies on business development.
